Gospel of Wealth Chapter Five
Enter Jesus
For this reason was the
Son of God manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil.
|
God knew what Satan was up to. He knew that Adam
would fall. So from the second child of Eve (Abel) God began to send prophets
and preachers of righteousness to point the way back to the glory of God.
Each new prophecy gave a little more revelation of God back to man, here a little,
there a little. As men obeyed, God blessed them. Prosperity, health, and fertility
were the common blessings of the day. If you sinned, sickness and poverty came
home to live with you.
God eventually sent a man named Moses who penned an extensive list of dos and
donts (the Law) outlining a means for man to obtain the blessings of holiness.
Under the Law the blood from innocent bulls and goats were needed to cover mans
sin. The Law also enumerated exactly what the blessings were for obedience and
what the curses were for disobedience. Deuteronomy 28
The prosperity was the well known and highly desirable: health, wealth, fertility,
and protection from enemies. The curses were a retraction of the same: no health,
no wealth, childlessness, and war.
Serve the lord your God
with joyfulness and gladness of heart for the abundance of all that he
has blessed you with lest these awful curses come on you and overtake
you.
|
The blessings and the curses were both ABSOLUTE,
perfect, and complete in a word, HOLY. If you were blessed, you were
excessively blessed and if you were cursed, you were cursed beyond recognition.
The blessings were the best and the curses were the worst. The command to serve
the Lord your God for the abundance all was one you obeyed or else! There was
no middle ground, no gray area. There never is with God.
.
Under the Law people never really had contact with the Spirit of the Most High,
it was an arms-length contract with the blood of bulls and goats bridging the
gap long enough for God to get His blessings through. Elaborate systems
of blood sacrifices never took away the sins of men it only covered them for
one year, so the next year they had to be done again.
This Law made the sin of man more evident than ever and proved man incapable
of living a holy life. It was too much for any person to follow, anyone who
wasnt perfect, that is. But when the right time came, God sent His son
to live a life that was perfect and holy, one who could fulfill all the requirements
of the law and succeed.
Enter Jesus, born of a virgin.
Through the power of a sinless life Jesus fulfilled all righteousness. The blood
flowing through His veins was Holy. This is the blood that could save man from
his predicament and not only cover it.
Jesus, The Son of God, entered the body by means of a virgin. He didnt
acquire the dead spiritual nature that plagued Adam and kept everyone from the
true Spirit of Wealth. He had the Divine nature of God and the ability to do
the law perfectly. He never faltered. He never failed. He never sinned. Jesus
through the Spirit completely fulfilled the law and lived a holy spotless life
as no mere man could do. He fulfilled all righteousness.
At this, the Holy Ghost settled on Him like a dove from heaven. Jesus once again
began to demonstrate the kingdom of heaven on earth. He is called the second
Adam.
Preaching and Proving the Kingdom
Jesus preached the good news about the kingdom being accessible to man once
again and proved it! He healed the sick, cast out devils, and raised the dead.
His ministry was Gods will done on earth as it is in heaven.
Jesus was the last piece of the prophetic puzzle mapping out the road back to
the tree of life. He stood there eating the fruit of the tree and said to everyone,
who would listen, "follow me."
After living that perfect life under the law without sinning. Jesus offered
himself as a holy sacrifice and completely abolished the power of sin and death
over mankind forever. Man, through the blood of Jesus, has unlimited access
to the Most High again for the first time since Adam. This is Gods hidden
plan and Satan never figured it out.
Jesus took upon himself everything that Satan brought on man as a result of
Adams sin and separation from God: disease, darkness, death, poverty,
separation, and sin. Nothing was left out. He was a holy sacrifice.
After paying the price for mankind, Jesus rose from the dead, destroyed the
power of sin and its evil fruit, and completely destroyed the power of
hell and the grave. Satans kingdom was utterly laid waste. Then Jesus
took his seat at the right hand of the God all things subject to him.
Jesus is seated, once again, in the pure holiness of wealth.
To walk in the Gospel of Wealth you must make Jesus the true lord of
your life. You must renounce Satan and sin and take your place as a son of The
Most High. Jesus took your place in punishment and you must take his place in
prosperity. Heres how its done.
Declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead
For with the spirit man
believes unto right standing with God and with the mouth declaration is
made unto salvation.
|
Do it. Youve just taken the first step into walking in the wealth of God
Therefore if any man
is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away and behold
all things have become new and all things are of God. 2Cor. 5:17
|
Jesus paid it all. Jesus took your place on the
cross that day. Everything you should have received as a punishment for sin,
he paid for in full. You were completely set free from all guilt and condemnation.
He was made poor that you might be made rich.He took your sickness and by his
stripes you were healed. The punishment for your peace was upon him and his perfect
peace is yours.
He bore the crushing weight of your sins in his own body and you live in righteousness
through him. He was made a curse for you and you are redeemed from the curse
of the law. He was separated from the Most High so that you could be joined
to him through the Blood of Christ.
Receiving Jesus and his sacrifice makes you perfect, complete, and holy in Gods
sight. You become fully capable of walking with God, in his world, just as if
you had never sinned. Its like sin never existed.
Everythings been paid for; even future mistakes a luxury Adam never
had. The blood of Jesus lives on to make continuous intercession for you so
you never have to leave the Garden again. The blood of Jesus is holy.
For God has make Jesus
to be made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in
him. 2Cor. 5:21
Even when we were dead in trespasses and sins he made us alive together and raised us up together to sit in heavenly places. |
Jesus is seated in the highest position of authority in the universe and you are seated right next to him. All the triumph and blessing of Jesus are bestowed on us in his name.
In him God now longer sees our past, he sees Jesus.
In him we have all things back that Adam lost in the fall.
In him we have access to the throne of God to find help in times of need.
In him we are the righteousness of God. In him we walk with the Most High.
In him we have perfect peace.
In him there is life more abundantly.
In him we have healing and health.
In him there is protection and security.
In him there is no darkness at all.
In him we have access to Divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
In him we command the angels.
In him we have authority over demons and devils.
In him we are free from all fear, even the fear of death.
In him we are redeemed from the curse of the law and all its consequences.
In him we become Gods best friend and live daily with Him just like Adam
did in the garden.
In him we are the third Adam. Jesus restored our privilege to the power of God.
In him we are holy.
For you know the grace
of our lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich yet he became poor that
you through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9
